The salary depends on the position
There is no single figure — the Ministry of Labour sets a five-tier scale of minimum-wage multipliers depending on the foreign employee’s role.
What the full cost consists of
Beyond the salary — requirements apply to the employer itself: a minimum company capital and a mandatory quota of Turkish employees.

Frequent questions
Why is the figure in dollars, not lira?
The site’s model works in dollars or euros — the figure shown is converted at the rate on the check date (26 Aug 2026, ~48.1 TRY/$). The Turkish lira is volatile, so the exact amount in your currency may differ by the time you file — use the lira figures in the multiplier table as the reference.
How is the applicable multiplier determined?
By the foreign employee’s actual position — from 1× for domestic staff and similar roles up to 5× for senior management and pilots. The employer classifies the position when filing.
What happens if the 5:1 quota is not met?
The permit application is refused, and additional penalties may apply to the employer — the quota is checked strictly.
Does the Turkish employer need a minimum capital?
Yes, from TRY 500,000 — the same requirement applies to new companies that have not yet prepared an annual balance sheet.
How long does it really take?
About 30 days through the e-İzni electronic system for a complete, correct document set — more complex cases can take longer.
How long is the initial permit valid?
Up to 1 year, with subsequent renewal possible while the basis remains (job offer, employer compliance).
